Masterpiece Artwork

ART CREATED BY TWO

Masterpiece Artwork is the work of husband-and-wife artists Ela and Larry Hersberger.

One artistic vision: to create meaningful family artwork with the beauty, craftsmanship, and permanence once reserved for classical portraiture.

Every commission is conceived and created together. Photography gives us the foundation — but it is only the beginning. Through composition, light, artistic refinement, and fine-art craftsmanship, we transform what we witness into a finished work of art.

Each piece carries one name: Hersberger.

OUR STORY

Our story began in two very different worlds.

Ela grew up in Poland, surrounded by European art, theater, and history — and the understanding that beauty can carry meaning across generations. Her background in classical painting shaped the way she sees people: not simply as they appear, but through emotion, symbolism, color, and story.

Larry's artistic career has taken his work around the world, with installations reaching more than 50 countries. His mastery of photography, light, and visual storytelling brings extraordinary depth and precision to every commission.

When we began creating together, those two worlds became one.

We did not want to create photographs that would be briefly admired and eventually forgotten in a digital folder. We wanted to create family artwork with the presence of a painting — artwork made for the home, capable of becoming part of a family's history.

That belief became Masterpiece Artwork.

Today we work side by side as artists, husband and wife, and parents. We know how quickly family life changes. We know that what feels ordinary today may one day become what you miss most.

Our work is our way of honoring it before it passes.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

A family's love deserves a permanent place to live.

It should be seen in the home where children are growing. It should remind them, on ordinary days and difficult ones:

You are loved. You belong. You matter.

With time, the artwork becomes more than a portrait. It becomes part of the family's story — something children remember growing up beneath, and may one day pass to children of their own.

Photography is our medium. Art is our product.

A PRIVATE COMMISSION

We accept a limited number of private commissions each month so that every family receives our complete artistic attention.

Each commission begins with a conversation about your family, your home, and what matters enough to preserve.
