ELA HERSBERGER

ARTIST OF HOPE AND HEALING

Ela Hersberger was born in Poland, where she first learned to see.

Her artistic foundation was shaped by the European classical tradition — the study of light, composition, and human expression as practiced by the Old Masters. From the beginning, her work was never about capturing appearance. It was about revealing what lives beneath it.

That conviction has guided everything since.

Over more than two decades, Ela has created commissioned portrait artwork for families and collectors across Europe and the United States. Her work has appeared in international publications, on published book covers, and in private collections around the world. She has directed large-scale creative productions, participated in international design conferences — including a prestigious gathering in Lake Como, Italy — and founded Elite Bridal Network, a professional organization that brought together hundreds of leaders across the luxury creative industry.

She studied Business and Media Communications alongside her artistic training, developing the entrepreneurial clarity that would later shape Masterpiece Artwork — the studio she co-founded with her husband, Larry Hersberger.

But credentials are not what drives her.

Ela describes her work as heirloom art as emotional care. Not photography. Not portraiture in the conventional sense. Something closer to a covenant: between artist and family, between the present moment and the generations that will inherit it.

Photography is my medium. Art is my product.

She does not manufacture moments. She prepares the ground for them.

Her process — Surrender, See, Honor, Reveal, Hold — begins in listening and ends in permanence.

The artwork that results is not a record of how a family looked on a given day. It is evidence of how they loved.

That distinction is everything.

Beyond the studio, Ela serves as President of the Don't Fear Me Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness and advancing the lives of individuals with Down syndrome. Her professional training includes working with newborns, children, and young adults of all abilities — an experience that has deepened her belief that art must celebrate the dignity and individuality of every person it touches.

She is also the author and illustrator of children's books, and has spent her career at the intersection of visual art, storytelling, and the enduring human need to be seen.

Ela Hersberger is an Artist of Hope and Healing. She creates family artwork that preserves love for the future and makes belonging visible in the present.

Because you are loved. You belong. You matter.

The love is the answer to it all. And art holds what time takes.
